Founded in 1971, the mission of the Saugus Chamber of Commerce is to promote and advocate on behalf of the member Business community. The Chamber is here to respond to the needs of the business community
Since 1971, the Saugus Chamber of Commerce has helped member businesses grow and succeed in Saugus. That mission began its revitalization in January 2011 with the election of a new Board of Directors representing a cross-section of the Saugus business community tailored to improving the quality of life for our members.
Some of the changes the Chamber has made have been a complete revision of the bylaws to create the structure necessary to address the ever changing needs of the business community, the appointment of an Executive Director, office relocation to the Marleah Graves Community Building, development of a budget, elimination of outstanding liabilities and solidifying our fiscal position.
In just a few short months, the Chamber has impacted our member businesses through referrals, a community forum regarding the water main replacement on Route One and has featured several member businesses in the Saugus Advertiser Business Profile.
Today every business needs more revenue and support. The mission of the new Saugus Chamber of Commerce is to facilitate that process.
