Residents of Saugus who reach the age of 18 on or before any election can register to vote in that election. Voters are required to register at least 21 days prior to a municipal election. Voters are required to register at least 21 days prior to a municipal election, and 28 days prior to a state and federal election. Registration can be done from 8:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. on Mondays and 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, and 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Fridays at the Town Clerk's office at town hall.
